One of the most annoying things about summer is mowing the lawn. Depending on how big your yard is, it can mean spending hours out in the hot sun while you could be doing something a lot more fun like watching the Olympics or making giant soap bubbles. Reclaim your summer with this remote control lawn mower that does all the hard work for you.

If you're starting out with a brand new lawn mower, you'll want to put it together and get a feel for how it works before you start. Of course, you can also modify one you already have.

The first step is to attach the swivel wheels to the frame.

The lawn mower is then attached to the frame from an electric wheelchair.

Once the frame is complete, the batteries are connected in the rear.

You'll need an enclosure to protect your electronics, as well.

The motor and electronics will fit into the enclosure.

Once the motor and electronics are all hooked up, the solar panels are attached to the lawn mower.

Leave it in the sun to charge for a few hours and give it a try!
